Long night...

Well, Larry turned a 1/4 century old yesterday... lol :) He got an xbox for his birthday along with some other stuffs. We had pizza for dinner last night and all was well until I tried going to bed...

Felt a little funny, had a hard time swallowing and my chest was tight. Got up and noticed my hands where a little puffy and my eyes really red and my my tongue swollen. Sent Larry out a few minutes to midnight to get me some Benadryl.

He comes back with Benadryl Cold and Sinus, which has pseudoephedrine and tylenol in it along with the anti-histamine so I took three to get the full dose of anti-histamine. Felt better, slept fine. Woke up higher than a kite...

While waiting for Larry to return I was sitting and thinking to myself, "what the hell did I have a reaction to?"... I thought it might be the cheese I had on the pizza with dinner, but milk doesnt make me react like that, niether did the egg I had on my salad (yes, I tempt the gods of allergic reactions every time I have this stuff but I'll deal), plus, it had been some time at that point since dinner. Finally, it came to me...

Larry had bought a large box of Magic cards for us to play together and with his friends at school, (probably around 800 cards). The box they came in had water damage on it. I had touched the cards before but only for a short time, but last night we sat and played for over an hour, during which time I touched my face, hair, and ate finger foods.

So, I am 95% sure my reaction was to mold. *sighs* Even though I took a shower inbetween playing with the cards and bed, I must have just gotten so much of it on me it didnt matter. Living in Colorado I was always suspicious of touching things that had been in basements for long periods of time, but being that we don't have basements here it didnt occur to me not to touch the box or cards without wiping them down with a bit of viniger first. Will remember this...

So yah, woke up high from the large dose I took. But I have no more symptoms of the reaction so its ok. Moving on...

Finally caught Trixie online today. We've been playing talker tag for months now, having conversations on the message board and just in the main room (providing no one clears the buffer). It was only for a minute or two, but it is glad to know she and Rogue are doing well in real-time conversation... Lol. Sometimes I miss the good-ole days of talkers and muds, coding them was my hobby :)
